We are your local Mackay disability provider, accredited and registered with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ). We also provide services to people who may not be eligible for these schemes and choose to pay for services personally.

Support Coordination
Our NDIS Support Coordinator can assist you in navigating the NDIS, assist you to implement your Plan, and connect you with appropriate supports, and:
>> Understand NDIS terms and agreements
>> Understand what each category of support entails and how you can benefit from engaging in services
>> Assist you to obtain and organise assessments required by the NDIA
>> Investigate options and obtain access to assistive technology, aids, equipment, and home modifications as recommended by therapists
>> Request and collate all engaged provider progress reports in preparation of NDIS plan reviews
>> Attend NDIS Plan Review meetings on your request.
Accessible Transport
OneLife NQ has a wheelchair accessible vehicle available for use by clients, for a per kilometre fee. The vehicle may be used to attend appointments, enjoy social get togethers and events, participate in sport and recreational activities, connecting with people at church or shopping.
Myrtle’s Place
Myrtle’s Place is a specialised accessible home, particularly suitable for people with high physical support needs. Myrtle’s Place has five purpose built bedrooms fitted with ceiling and manual hoists, Vitalcall and nurse call systems, and accessible bathrooms. Throughout the home there are lowered benches, accessible laundry facilities and an accessible kitchen design. The outdoor entertaining area is lovely place for a BBQ.
